The U.C. Davis Chancellor told a state legislative hearing that she wouldn't have ordered campus police to clear an Occupy encampment if she had knows officers would use force against students. State lawmakers called the hearing after campus police pepper sprayed U.C. Davis students and use batons against students at U.C. Berkeley. Christopher Martinez reports.
