A group of Occupy LA activists released from jail held a press
conference at Los Angeles City Hall to give their version of
Wednesday’s eviction. They say restrictions placed on the media prevented journalists from accurately reporting the police raid. Activists allege many of the
nearly 300 people taken into custody were badly mistreated during and
after their arrest. Civil rights attorneys say city officials are violating First
Amendment rights and state law. Ernesto Arce has more from Los Angeles.
