2011 marks the 45th anniversary of the African heritage holiday Kwanzaa. At the spiritual tradition's birthplace in South Los Angeles, members of the community mark the 4th day of the week-long celebration, Ujamaa, with a call for shopping at businesses in the historic African-American community of Leimert Park Village. As Pacifica's Dan Fritz reports, it's a badly-needed call for economic stimulus in an area reeling with unemployment levels as high as 50%.
