African American Groups Sue To Overturn Prop 209

An alliance of African-American groups and their supporters have launched a new state-wide effort to overturn a voter initiative that banned Affirmative Action admission policies in California's public universities. Proposition 209 is being challenged in court and scheduled to be heard by the federal 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in February. The alliance is calling on minority groups and supporters to march in San Francisco in a show of opposition. Dan Fritz files this report.
