L.A. City Council Resolution Opposes Corporate Personhood

Members of Occupy Los Angeles are marching now in the downtown Los Angeles' Financial District to express solidarity with activists in Oakland experiencing violent arrests. Los Angeles Occupiers have vowed not to cooperate if police try to remove their encampment outside of city hall. Earlier in the afternoon, many of them poured into overflow rooms at a Los Angeles City Council committee meeting today to weigh in on a resolution calling for an end to corporate constitutional rights.
