Foster Youth Oppose Judge's Order To Open Cases To Public

Advocates for foster youth held a protest outside of the Edelman
Children’s Court in Los Angeles this morning.The California Youth Connection is asking a Superior Court judge to rescind a blanket order that would allow media and members of the public to sit in on juvenile court hearings. Youth in the foster care system say open courts would further traumatize them by making the often painful details of their cases public. Ernesto Arce files this report from Los Angeles.
