City Council Hears Hours Of Testimony on Occupy Oakland

The Oakland City Council heard hours of emotional testimony on the Occupy Oakland encampment and the city's response to it. Supporters of the encampment urged adoption of a resolution supporting the encampment and opposing police action, but its sponsor asked for postponement of action, saying she didn't have the votes for passage last night.
