Los Angeles car wash workers are celebrating what they say is the
first unionized car wash business in the United States.
Labor organizers, workers and a manager from the Bonus Car Wash in
Santa Monica were on hand for this morning’s signing ceremony.
The agreement culminates a three-year effort to improve working
conditions for the estimated 10,000 car wash workers in greater Los
Angeles. Ernesto Arce files this report.
