Republican Presidential Hopefuls Raise Funds in L.A.

Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney made a campaign stop in Los Angeles today and renewed his criticism of President Barack Obama's handling of the economy. During a brief press conference at a struggling shopping center in North Hollywood, Romney accused Obama of having the audacity of indifference to Americans suffering during the economic downturn. Democrat leaders shot back. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa called Romney a failed politician who was focusing on dividing the nation, rather than creating jobs. Progressive groups denounced what they say are Romney’s anti-worker, anti-immigrant politics. Pacifica’s Ernesto Arce has more from Los Angeles.
