CSU Trustees Vote For Tuition Hike

Tuition will be going up by another 12 percent for undergraduate students at California State University campuses. The university's Board of Trustees insisted the hike was necessary due to cuts in state funding. Chancellor Charles Reed says the enormous reduction in state funding left the board with no other choice. Dozens of students and university employees protested the fee increase and additional cuts to staff benefits. Pacifica’s Ernesto Arce files this report from Los Angeles.
