Veteran Chicano Activist Charges F.B.I. Persecution

Dozens of people gathered outside of a Los Angeles County courthouse to demand charges be dropped against a veteran Chicano activist. Carlos Montes is a renowned immigrant rights leader and co-founder of the Brown Berets. He’s facing six criminal charges in relation to illegal possession of a firearm. Many activists say it’s an FBI orchestrated case of political persecution. Pacifica’s Ernesto Arce files this report from Los Angeles.
