Child Care Cuts To Hit 60,000 More Kids

More than 60,000 children could lose access to child care and pre-school at the end of this month, under a state budget that follows years of cuts to child care programs since 2009. A new report by the California Budget Project says child care programs have been cut by more than 1.6 billion dollars, including a 750 million dollar cut scheduled to take effect on July 1.
