Los Angeles City Attorney Carmen Trutanich announced a lawsuit against Deutsche Bank, alleging it failed to maintain hundreds of properties and illegally evicted tenants.
The lawsuit alleges Deutsche forcibly vacated and sold buildings and houses which it failed to maintain properly. Most of the properties are located in South Los Angeles where residents say the bank is notorious for exploiting tenants and allowing neighborhoods to deteriorate.
