The Los Angeles City Council has passed a 52 million dollar downtown redevelopment deal. It's the latest of several redevelopment projects the city is considering to keep redevelopment funds in Los Angeles ahead of Governor Jerry Brown's proposed closing of Community Redevelopment Agencies across the state.
