Los Angeles Company Charged with Human Trafficking

The FBI has charged six people from a Los Angeles-based labor services company in what it’s calling the largest human trafficking case ever charged in U.S. history. The recruiters for Global Horizons are accused of luring more than 400 Thai nationals into the U.S., where they were forced to work in 13 states. Upon entering the country, the workers say their passports were taken from them and they were forced to work under threat. Pacifica’s Ernesto Arce reports from Los Angeles.
