Poor People's Campaign on Poverty, Environment, Racism

More than 100 religious and social justice advocates gathered in Sacramento in part of a nation-wide “Poor People’s Campaign” Monday, calling for a moral revival against racism, poverty, the war economy, and ecological devastation. It was one of a series of actions at 32 state capitols and Washington DC calling for action, and pledging a wave of nonviolent civil disobedience this spring.
