A State Assembly Committee has approved two major immigrants' rights bills. One would allow undocumented California college students to apply for state university scholarships and grants. The other would establish a bill of rights for domestic workers -- many of whom are undocumented. The Coalition for Humane Immigrants Rights Los Angeles --CHRLA -- held a viewing party.
