Eight people, including United Farm Workers founder Dolores Huerta, were arrested today for blocking the Fresno County Board of Supervisors meeting, as hundreds of union members, local elected officials, faith leaders and social justice activists rallied in support of a fair increase in wages for In-Home Supportive Services workers. They are demanding a pay increase of one dollar an hour, after going without a pay increase for ten years. Fresno County Supervisors only offered a raise of ten cents per hour. Vic Bedoian reports from Fresno.
